I was at a quilt show and the Juki dealer said you also set the tension using the white knob to the left of the word Juki. It does tighten or loosen but I wasn't sure when to use this knob. Are you familiar with this? Thank you.

I've only used the 10 needle Baby Lock so please excuse the fundamental questions. Can I use Embrillance Essentials on the Sai or am I limited to Tajima's built in software? If you can use Embrillance on the Sai, do you have to load on a USB stick or can you connect directly to the computer? Do you actually run the machine at 800 SPM the majority of the time? Although the Baby Lock has a 1000 SPM we tend to run it a 800 SPM max. Lastly, can you use Fast Hoops with the Sai? Thank you.

If my TL 2010 bobbin stitching (underside) is a 'straight line' and I have my top tension (which looks good), near 4, do I need to adjust the bobbin case tension? Tighter or looser? Thanks - great content!

I live in a small 1 bedroom Unit. I already have a 1 needle embroidery machine, a serger and a sewing machine that does all the rest. But, I want to do bags. doing them on my domestic is a learning curve. Dont have the room for an industrial. So ben looking at TL series. Asking what other bag makers have. So far, the Juki TL-2010q is winning lol.

I am new to all this and had trouble with that tension spring on the DNU1541 but finally got the thing threaded (and I only have one eye). Now for the bobbin that to me should have been done first. I only have one spool of thread so am going to pull all the thread out so I can wind the bobbin. Then re thread the machine. I betcha I don't have the spring adjusted right bit the engineer in me just had to mess with that knob not knowing you weren't supposed to mess with it. Thanks Juki😢

This video is perfect! I followed it and changed out everything (stitch plate, thread, bobbin, and needle) on my 2010 so I could top stitch a bag. So much better!

NOT FOR BEGINNERS. I've been sewing since childhood. When i turned 48, a fashion school opened in my area. Juki had donated industrial machines to our school. the machines were so fast that nobody, including me, could control them when given an assignment to follow winding rows of stitches. Several people sewed over their fingers. I started bringing my home machine to class to complete my projects. And the motors were so powerful that when you tip the machines, they were sitting in a "vat" of oil.

I love the 1541S.

Hi.. i bought a Juki HZL G220... i have a problem with my bobbin stitch. its making eyelashes, and stitch is like a line. i looked everywhere if i can fix it, but,, to no avail, as i am from South Africa, and wanted to learn FMQ. There is no information on my Juki machine to find anywhere. Most probably because no one here is doing much quilting. i would appreciate if i can get some information on this matter. thank you

Thanks for the correction on oiling frequency! I knew that every day was excessive but didn’t know how much to pull back. Great to see where the oil is going and what its target is. Thanks again!

I usually can fix anything so I looked at my old sewing machine that had been messing up with birds nesting underneath. I took it apart and found the top of the lock ring was bent upwards, bent it back to what I guess was the correct angle and also adjusted the tension swylitch on the back of the machine. Test sewed a piece of fabric and the nesting stopped. It was sewing tight and short underneath, it's good enough for me and my upholstery work.

It’s such a great machine. I just wish there were more in depth tutorials on the software.

All of these videos are helpful. Only step missing is showing how to insert the bobbin properly as it was done off-camera.

Juki newby here and you’re talking & moving way too fast assuming we’re all familiar with this machine. I did get it accomplished but had to rewind several areas multiple times. Next time maybe know that there are grannies trying to follow along 😅

The cutter does not cut my thread and the metal sticks on left do come across but do not cut and thread ends up getting caught inside there.

I got a question for you. I have a 2010q. I love this machine. In the last year I have had problems with the bobbin winder. It gets stuck. I have had it into the shop several times. It’s in the shop again. The work is covered for 6 months. It’s so weired once that bobbin winder breaks down the machine doesn’t sew. It’s so frustrating. Any suggestions? Or am I ready for a new machine. Sure I like the 18. The price is steep. I already have quite a few feet that I use on a regular basis. If I was to purchase a machine from you is there any wiggle room on the accessories that 8 already have and don’t need duplicates. I love my Juki. I have a singer back up but it’s not a Juki. Any suggestions?
